United For Humanitarian Services(UHS) is a 501 (c) (3) with focus on humanitarian and community development programs. The organization is supporting refugees, low-income families and people with special needs in Kentucky (USA). We have expended our activities in The Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), The United Republic of Tanzania (Nyarugusu Refugee Camp in Kigoma region and Dar es Sallaam region with urban refugees ) and the Republic of Burundi with low income families and Internally Displaced Population (IDPs).

UHS has its head office situated in Lexington, Kentucky in the United States of America. The organization is engaged in Humanitarian and Community Development projects implemented under the humanitarian to development nexus concept. UHS has well-structured governance which is headed by the Governing Board comprising of up to nine members with gender representation. The Executive Officer (EO) oversees the administration of day to day activities of the organization. Under the EO, there are Secretary, Accounting Manager, Operation Manager and field Program Officers to support the program operations of the organization. To strengthen governance, the organization has clear documented personnel, procurement, and financial manuals.
The financial accounts of the organization are audited by an internal and external audit team from the partner and organization’s external auditor for safeguarding partners’ funds and financial management integrity. The organization has experience in partners’ funds’ management.
